That Mumbai won the most prestigious Indian domestic tournament for the 40th time wasn’t surprising. The manner in which they fought throughout the series to lay their hands on the trophy though was outright inspiring.
Mumbai finished at a healthy total of 380 for 6 on the second day of their Ranji Semi Final against Services in Delhi. The visitors did not lose a single wicket on Day 2 with the overnight pair of Wicket Keeper Aditya Tare and Skipper Ajit Agarkar slamming centuries.
